NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
Copies of the staff reports or other written documentation relating to each item of business referred to on the
Agenda are available for review during regular working hours of 7:00 a.m,to 5:00 p.m.,Monday—Thursday at
the Public Works Department,located at 809 N.Angeleno Ave.,Azusa.Any questions regarding any agenda
item may be answered by thePublic Works Department at(626)812-5261 (Israel Del Toro, StaffLiaison).
Persons who wish to speak during the Public Participation portion of the Agenda, shall fill out a card
requesting to speak and shall submit it to the Commission's Liaison prior to the start of the Commission
meeting.When called,each person may address any item on or off the agenda during the public participation

D) PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
(Person/Group shall be allowed to speak without interruption up to five(5)minutes maximum time,
subject to compliance with applicable meeting rules. Questions to the speaker or responses to the
speaker's questions or comments shall be handled after the speaker has completed his/her comments.
Public Participation will be limited to sixty(60)minutes time.)

At least 72 hours before a regular meeting, the legislative body of the local agency,or its designee,shall post an
agenda containing a brief general description of each item of business to be transacted or discussed at the meeting,
including items to be discussed in closed session.
A brief general description of an item generally need not exceed 20 words. The agenda shall specify the time and
location of the regular meeting and shall be posted in a location that is freely accessible to members of the public.
No action or discussion shall be undertaken on any item not appearing on the posted agenda,except that members of
a legislative body or its staff may briefly respond to statements made or questions posed by persons exercising their
public testimony rights.
