The City Council of the City of Azusa met in an adjourned
regular meeting at the above time and place.
Mayor Pro Tempore Calvert called the meeting to order.
Present at Roll Call: Councilmen: Rubio, Decker, Cooney,
Calvert.
Absent at Roll Call: Councilmen: Solem

explaining the library budget request.
Mayor Solem entered the meeting at 8:00 P.M. and assumed
the chair.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Calvert
and unanimously carried that the Account Number 5510
(Library) be alloted the full 30 mils tax revenue plus fees
and fines.

and unanimously carried that Object 245 in Account Number
5040 (Accounting) be reduced to $15.00 per month for an

Moved by Councilman Cooney, seconded by Councilman Calvert
and unanimously carried that the budget requests for Account
Number 5040 (Accounting) be accepted as amended with the
exception of the 330 Object.
Moved by Councilman Rubio, seconded by Councilman Calvert and
unanimously carried that Ob'ect 245 in Account No. 5030
(City Clerk) be reduced to C$50.00 per month for an Object
total of $600.00 per year.
Moved by Councilman Rubio, seconded by Councilman Calvert
and unanimously carried that Object 330 in Account Number
5030 (City Clerk) be reduced by $125-00 for an Object
total of $539.
Moved by Councilman Rubio, seconded by Councilman Calvert
and unanimously carried that the budget request for Account
Number 5030 (City Clerk) be accepted as amended with the
exception of the 300 and 400 Objects.
An invitation was presented from the West Covina Chamber
of Commerce inviting the City of Azusa to enter a
reresentative in the 4th of July parade to be held in that
City.
Moved by Councilman Rubio, seconded by Councilman Decker,
and unanimously carried that the invitation be referred to
the Chamber of Commerce for their decision.

The City Administrator reported that per request of the City City Adm.
Council"he had contacted an appraiser recommended by the auth.to
Director of Public Works to make a third appraisal on the engage
