ment with Mr. Watson provided that no houses would be
built under 1300 sq. ft. area. This document was
recorded but was not binding upon any other owners.
The new owner submitted plans for approximately 101
homes, 13 of which will have 850 sq. ft. each. This
would be a detriment to the community and something
should be done to prohibit building of homes of this
size. It was felt necessary that the Council take
official action to adopt an urgency Ordinance to that
effect, with a moratorium of 90 days (instead of 120
days, as previously suggested).
An Ordinance was presented for introduction and adoption,
suspending for 90 days the approval of any precise plan
or issuance of any building permit.
The City Administrator read in full the proposed urgency
Ordinance.
Councilman Calvert offered for adoption the Ordinance
