Landscape and Irrigation Maintenance Amendment 1
February 22, 2022
Page 2
As is common with all City Maintenance contracts, staff may recommend up to two additional one-year
extensions after the initial three-year term for a total of five years. Brightview has decided to forego the
one-year extension and offered to continue their services on a month-to-month basis for the remainder of
Fiscal Year 2021/22 at their current monthly rate.
Throughout the past three years Brightview has fulfilled their contract obligations with the City and has
been able to assist the City in various additional assignments.
With the recommendations above approved, Brightview will continue their contracted services for the
remainder of Fiscal Year 2021/22. Staff will be returning to the City Council for authorization to solicit
a Notice Inviting Bids for Landscape and Irrigation Maintenance at a future City Council Meeting.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact on the requested amendment and the contract costs are included in the
FY2021-22 adopted budget under
