Moved by Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Decker and unanimously carried by roll call to approve the purchase of 1/2 page with pictures at a cost of $65, with details to be arranged by the City Administrator. A recommendation was received from the Accounting Director Appvl.roquesta 'and City Clerk to declare the NCR 3100 bookkeeping machine for formal bid and related equipment, in the Accounting Department, as on declared surplus equipment, and to request authorization of sale surplus equipmt. of said equipment by formal bid.in Acctg.Dept.& L&P Dept. The Superintendent of Light & Power also requested sale of the National Cash Register Billing Machine and Wheeldex Rotary File as surplus equipment. Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Snyder and unanimously carried to declare these machines surplus property, and to authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids on same. A request was submitted by Lorrie Grindstaff for use of Appvl.req.for Civic Center Park on 10/22/72, at 2 p.m., for "Los Amicos promotional for George (McGovern)", using the park and the bandshell, picnic to plus the Public Address System if possible. The City Atty, re: delay Attorney explained that the District Attorney's Office in pros. e;' has not been enthusiastic about prosecution and there abate, orders have been explainable delays in the processes. He replied that the Planning Commission had found them to be so, and that it was his contention that the plans were in agreement with such elements of the City's General Plan.
