The Director of Public Works presented a Grant Deed from
the Azusa Agricultural Water Company which included all
physical property and the pumping rights.
It was.noted by the Mayor that the City of Azusa owns 85%
of the stock of this company. The company is taxed and
the City has to pay 85 of the tax money annually. By
owning the company, the City would not have to pay this
annual tax. Discussion was held with regard to the loca-
tion of the office and records of the company, once it is
accepted by the City.
