Present zoning for subject property is Rlb, Fla & RA -201000
(City) and RA -20,000 & RA -25,000 (County). The following
land uses were considered by Planning Commission: agricul-
tural use, open space and residential use. It would appear
that the best and most desirable use of study area would be
a lower density residential that would provide for agri-
cultural uses. Such a designation would permit existing
agricultural uses to continue, while assuring that any
development that takes place within this area would be in
conformance with City's goals and policies and General
Plan.
It is the recommendation of Planning Commission that City
Council find that change of zone to RA -20,000, will have
no adverse environmental effects, and that entire area be
rezoned and prezoned to RA -20,000.
Moved by Councilman Arkison, seconded by Councilman Solem
and unanimously carried to close hearing.
Moved by Councilman Rubio, seconded by Councilman Arkison
