AZUSA AUDITORIUM AZUSA, CALIFORNIA MONDAY, MARCH 15, 1976 7:30 p.m.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in Call to Order
salute to the flag.
Invocation was given by Mr. Frank Herber of Church of Invocation
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Mr. Kenneth K. Chan, Building Code and Fire Protection
Consultant, hired by Mr. Leo Nasser for rehabilitation
of building at 708 N. Azusa Avenue, addressed Council.
He informed Council that positive action has been taken
on referenced project, he is not delaying the project
but is behind because of a heavy work load.
After discussion, it was

sixty days for time to begin construction of needed
repairs and alterations.

Councilman Arkison requested information on release from Info.re:
LCC re: Criminal Justice Grant, in which the City would Criminal
get a local dollar match of $4,553 as required, and Justice
questioned if the Police Chief or City Administrator Grant
could determine if this would be worthwhile for the City
of Azusa. Police Chief stated he was not familia-.- with
this grant, and requested he have time to s`. and
report back to Council.
