Mayor Solem called the meeting to order. Call to Order

City Administrator presented request from City of Glen- Appvl0req .for
' dora for loan of Miss Azusa Pageant ramp for use in the use of Miss
Miss Glendora Pageant, to be held on July 23, 1976. Azusa Pageant

Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Arkison
and unanimously carried to approve request with the stipu-
lation that the City of Azusa incur no labor costs for
installation or dismantling.

ADDING CHAPTER 8.05.TO THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE TO
AUTHORIZE THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR THE PLAYING OF
BINGO TO NON-PROFIT CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS CONSISTENT
WITH SECTION 19 OF ARTICLE IV OF THE CONSTITUTION.
Moved by Councilman Cruz, seconded by Councilman Fry
and unanimously carried by roll call that further reading

Discussion was held regarding Ordinance and the following
amendments were approved:

Section 8.05.02 - Organizations must be located
within the City limits of the City of Azusa.
Subsection (h) $250.00 should be amended to $500.00
