Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in Call to Order the salute to the flag. Invocation was given by Rev. R. Addison of the First Invocation Baptist Church of Azusa. The City Clerk read affidavit of proof of publication of Notice of Hearing published in the Azusa Herald on January 4, 1979, and proof of posting on January 5, 1979. Moved by Councilman Cruz, seconded by Councilman Decker and unanimously carried to close the hearing. Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Fry and carried by roll call to approve proposed zone change from R -la to R-2 on property located on the north side of Tenth Street, east of Pasadena Avenue, and direct the City Attorney to prepare the necessary Ordinance. Councilman Cruz dissenting. The hour of 7:30 p.m. being the time set for a Public Pub.Hrg.on Hearing on proposed zone change from C-2 to R -3b (Case zone chng. Z-212), on property located at 525 through 535 N. San Case Z-212 Gabriel Avenue, as petitioned by the Zenitram Investment (Zenitram Corporation, the Mayor declared the hearing open. Investment Corp.) The City Clerk read affidavit of proof of publication of Notice of Hearing published in the Azusa Herald on January 4, 1979, and proof of posting on January 5, 1979.
