The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in Call to Order
the salute to the flag.
Invocation was given by Rev. R. Addison of the First Invocation
Baptist Church of Azusa.
The City Clerk read affidavit of proof of publication of
Notice of Hearing published in the Azusa Herald on January
4, 1979, and proof of posting on January 5, 1979.
Moved by Councilman Cruz, seconded by Councilman Decker
and unanimously carried to close the hearing.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Fry
and carried by roll call to approve proposed zone change
from R -la to R-2 on property located on the north side of
Tenth Street, east of Pasadena Avenue, and direct the City
Attorney to prepare the necessary Ordinance. Councilman
Cruz dissenting.
