The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place..
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in the
salute to the flag.
Invocation was given by Rev. R. Addison of the First
Baptist Church of Azusa.

Moses, Solem

M Minutes of 2/5/79 meeting stand approved as written
P[ayor Solem and Council embers accepted a plaque which
was presented to the City by Bob Mueller, Scout Master
U e.nd Bill Driever, Scout Coordinator, of Boy Scout Troop
V 410 for the City's continuing support of scouting.
Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Moses
and unanimously carried by roll call to direct the City
Clerk to issue all business licenses based upon the
quarters remaining in the fiscal year, and direct the
City Attorney to prepare the necessary Ordinance.
Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Decker
and carried by roll call to receive and file the letter
'of protest by Citizens for Remedial Action re: stop
sign at Nob Hill Dr. and Sierra Madre Avenue. Council-
man Cruz and Moses dissenting.
Mayor Solem directed the Chief of Police and Director
of Public Works to investigate the need for the stop
sign in question and report to Council.
Moved by Councilman Moses, seconded by Councilman Cruz
and unanimously carried to approve request for an exempt
business license for Ettie Lee Homes for Youth, located
tit 620 N. Cerritos Avenue, Azusa, as a nonprofit organi-
zation.
Councilman Moses offered a Resolution entitled:

Moved by Councilman Moses, seconded by Councilman Cruz
and unanimously carried that further reading be waived.
