The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in Call to Order
the salute to the flag.
Invocation was given by Reverend Richard C. Addison Invocation
of the First Baptist Church of Azusa.

Council congratulated the Explorer Scouts for their
involvement and dedication to the community by working
with the Police Department.

Mayor Solem requested that Director of Community Services
investigate possibility of pruning said tree, and that
Chief,of Police initiate extra patrol, due to outbreak
of burglaries at that location.

and unanimously carried to deny two claims vs City by
Janet MacDougall for alleged negligence on part of City
for allowing ultra hazardous materials at Norac Co.,
resulting in death of her son; and for alleged statements
made by agents of the City to the press, implicating the
deceased son as a causative factor in the Norac Company
fire.
