Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in
the salute to the flag.
Invocation was given by Reverend Frank Herber of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The hour of 7:30 p.m., being the time set for the Joint
Public Hearing on the proposed sale of land as provided
in the,Disposition and Development Agreement with Forest
City Dillon, Inc., the Mayor declared the Hearing open.
The City Clerk read affidavit of proof of publication
of Notice of Hearing published in the San Gabriel Valley
Tribune on May 17, 1979 and affidavit of proof of publi-
cation of Notice of Hearing published in the Azusa Herald
on May 24, 1979
The Documents under consideration were as follows:
1. Proposed Agreement with Forest City Dillon, Inc.
2. Initial Study (Environmental Information)
3. Summary Report on sale of real property pursuant to
a proposed disposition and development agreement
between the Redevelopment Agency of the City and
Forest City Dillon, Inc.
4. Communication from Telanoff, Wallin, Kress & Dilkes.

City Administrator Dangleis read Resolution No. PAC -3 PAC -3 Res.
submitted by the Azusa Central Business District Redevel-
opment Project Area Committee recommending that said
Amendment be approved and adopted.

and unanimously carried to continue Joint Public Hearing
on Proposed First Amendment to meeting of June 18, 19793
due to a specific document needed for Hearing not being
available at this time.

Hearing on appeal of action of the Planning Commission
approving a Variance request to permit 543 square feet of
floor area for one bedroom units, instead of the required
650 square feet; a reduced distance of 9' between a garage
and a dwelling unit instead of the required 101; and 3
garages for 4 dwelling units, on property located at 221
North Dalton Avenue, as petitioned by Lucio D. Cruz, the
Mayor declared the Hearing open.
Councilman Cruz was excused.
City Clerk read affidavit of proof of publication of
Notice of Hearing published in the Azusa Herald on
May 10, 1979, and proof of posting on May 21, 1979.

would be promoted by dispensing with same.
