The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in the
salute to the flag.
Invocation was given by Reverend Frank Herber of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

There being no additions or corrections, Minutes of the June
41 1979 regular meeting and the June 6, 1979 and June 12,
(D 1979 adjourned regular meetings stand approved as
written.

The Continued Public Hearing on Proposed First Amendment
to the Redevelopment Plan for the Azusa Central Business
District Redevelopment Project was brought before Council.
city Administrator presented communication from the
lanning Commission, in form of Resolution #1569, recommend -
ng that Proposed First Amendment be approved. He also
read communications from Los Angeles County Sanitation
District and the Southern California Association of
Governments, also stating that they had no objections to
the Proposed First Amendment.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Fry
and unanimously carried to receive communications and
place in report.
There being no public testimony on the draft subsequent
Environmental Impact Report or the Proposed Plan Amendment,
it was,
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Moses
and carried by roll call to close the Hearing. Councilman
Cruz dissenting.
Councilman Decker offered a resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
CERTIFYING THE FINAL SUBSEQUENT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
SPORT FOR THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
OR THE AZUSA CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT REDEVELOPMENT
ROJECT AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS WITH RESPECT TO THE
