The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session'at the above time and place.
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in the Call to Order
salute to the flag.
There was a moment of silent prayer in lieu of Invoca- Silent Prayer

Mr. Don Scharbrough of Investment Developers did not
appear before Council regarding a water line easement
at 732 East Foothill Blvd., as the problem had been
resolved with the Public Works Department.
With regard to Mr. Ray Malim's report on public dumping
at the northwest corner of Azusa and Gladstone and the
abandoned gas station at that location, it was,

or City would initiate Public Hearing for abatement.

that decision on appeal of conditional use permit for
Kiyohito Nakahara be postponed until the Foursquare
Gospel Church could be apprised of the change in Plan-
ning Commission's recommendation, failed by the following

Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Decker
that appeal on Conitional Use Permit Case No. C-218,
Kiyohito Nakahara, be approved as amended, i.e., on

with a restaurant, and that hours of operation shall be
limited to from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and that City
