CIVIC AUDITORIUM AZUSA, CALIFORNIA MONDAY, MARCH 3, 1980 7:30 p.m.
The City Council of the City�of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in Call to Order
the salute to the flag.
Invocation was given by Reverend Robert Flagg of the Invocatio n
First Presbyterian Church.
Present at Roll Call: Councilmen: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Roll Call
Moses, Solem
Also Present: City Attorney Newton, City Administrator

There being no additions or corrections, the Minutes ADDvl.Min.
of the February 19, 1980 regular meeting stand approved 9/80 mtg.
as written.
Mayor Solem presented a Proclamation, which the City Proclamation
Administrator read in full, to Girl Scouts in audience, Girl Scout
honoring Girl Scout Week from March 9th through the 15th, Week
1980.
Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Moses Condo.

Councilman Moses apprised Council and members of the
audience that all were invited to proceedings and that
State Senator H. L. Richardson and State Assemblyman
Richard Mountjoy would be in attendance.
Moved by Councilman Cruz, seconded by Councilman Moses
and unanimously carried that Public Hearing regarding
proposed zone change Z-214 be continued to meeting of
March 17, 1980, so that petitioner and Director of
Planning could be in attendance.

and unanimously carried that letter of support be pre-
pared re: Peripheral Canal.
Councilman Moses offered a resolution authorizing payment
of warrants by the City, which the City Clerk read in
full.

City Administrator apprised Council and members of the
audience that Sunday, March 9,1980, at 2:00 p.m. there
would be an official transfer of keys from the Azusa
Woman's Club to the City and that a small ceremony
would be held and refreshments served. The public was
invited.
Council recessed to Executive Session at 9:05 p.m.
Council reconvened at 9:22 p.m.
