Invocation was given by Monsignor Stein of the Saint Frances of Rome Church. I Present at Roll Call: Councilmen: Decker, Fry, Moses, Solem Absent at Roll Call: Councilmen: Cruz Also Present: City Attorney Newton, City Administrator Dangleis, City Department Heads, City Clerk Solis Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Moses and unanimously carried to excuse Councilman Cruz from meeting. There being no additions or corrections, the Minutes of the March 17th, 1980, regular meeting stand approved as written. Council adjourned to Community Redevelopment Agency at 7:40 p.m. CRA reconvened as City Council at 7:50 p.m. The hour of 7:30 p.m. being the time set for Public Hearing on appeal of certain condition set forth in Conditional ' Use Permit, Case No. C-229, Southern California -Arizona Conference of the Free Methodist Church, appealed by the Windsor Financial Corporation, the Mayor declared the Hearing open. City Clerk read affidavit of proof of publication of Notice of said Hearing published in the Azusa Herald on March 20, 1980, and affidavit of proof of posting said property on March 21, 1980. Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Moses and unanimously carried to refer appeal to Planning Commission as original request was modified in appeal. Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Decker and unanimously carried to continue Public Hearing, pending report from Planning Commission. Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Moses and unanimously carried that City Administrator meet with owners of Bar Sar, Inc., and go over sequence of events with regard to installation of sewer at 1020 W. Foothill Blvd., and to see if situation can be resolved. Moved by Councilman Moses, seconded by Councilman Fry and unanimously carried to allow one month's time for report from Director of Public Works re: de-gassifica- tion of water through aeration, in the hopes that this method could alleviate problems at the Carefree Azusa Condominium Association property.
