CIVIC AUDITORIUM AZUSA, CALIFORNIA MONDAY, OCTOBER 63 1980 7:30 p.m.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in the Call to Order
salute to the Flag.
Invocation was given by Reverend Elmer Nelson of the Invocation
Foursquare Gospel Church.
Present at Roll Call: Councilmen: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Roll Call

Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Moses
and unanimously carried that Purchasing Agent be
authorized to negotiate for the replacement of the two
ten ton air conditioning units at the Police Station,
dispensing with formal bidding procedures, finding it
impracticable, useless and uneconomical to follow such
procedures and that public welfare would be promoted
by dispensing with same.

The comxlaint regarding parking difficulties by Mr.
Ciarrocca, 1327 N. Dalton was referred to the Chief of
Police for possible solution.
Councilman Fry offered a Resolution authorizing payment
of warrants by the City which the City Clerk read in full.

that Resolution be adopted. Resolution passed and

The Mayor advised that 'Azusa Day at the Races' was
scheduled for October 8, 1980.
City Council recessed to a Joint Executive Session with
the Community Redevelopment Agency at 9:43 p.m.
City Council reconvened at 10:49 p.m.

and unanimously carried to adjourn.
