Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in the Call to Order salute to the flag. Invocation was given by Reverend John M. Neciuk, of the Invocation Ebenezer Assembly of God Church. i Present at Roll Call: Councilmen: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Roll Call Moses, Solem Also Present: CityAttorneyNewton, City Administrator DD Ole Department Heads, City Councilman Fry presented a plaque to Jeffrey Templeman Plaque -Jeff for his services to the City as a police officer. Templeman Councilman Decker presented a plaque to Mrs. Norma Turner Plaque -Norma for her services to the City as an employee in the Library Turner Department. Mr. Christopher Fairclough, new employee in the Public C.Fairclough Works Department was not in attendance at Council meeting. not at mtg. Introduction will be set for meeting of November 17, 1980. There being no additions or corrections, the Minutes of the Appvl.Min. October 20, 1980 regular meeting stand approved as written. 10/20/80 mtg. Mr. Loren Wendt of the Southern California Gas Company Natural gas addressed Council and advised of natural gas rate forecast forecast which will increase by at least 15%, and also spoke of methods to conserve natural gas. Council adjourned to Community Redevelopment Agency at A&j.to CRA 7:W p. M. r CRA reconvened as City Council at 10:00 p.m. Reconvened Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Fry United Pent. and unanimously carried that the United Pentecostal Church, Church/use of be authorized use of Civic Auditorium for their "Gospel Aud./pay Gust. Singspiration" on November 22, 1980, from 6:00 p.m. to service fee 10:00 p.m., however that custodial service fees not be waived. Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Decker Foothill Grdn. and unanimously carried to refexoftommunication from OSmers, Inca Foothill Gardens Owners, Inc., regarding requests of various natures to the Chief of Police and Director of Public Works for recommendations on these requests with report to Council. Corigliano. Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Moses and unanimously carried to receive and file City Treasurer's Financial Statement showing a balance of $6,036,973.02 as of September 30, 1980. Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Decker and unanimously carried to receive and file Fuel Cost Adjustment for the month of November, 1980. /39 Page 3 City Atty.to represent City re:litigation, B.E.Corigliano City Treas. Moved by Councilman Moses, seconded by Councilman Decker and unanimously carried by roll call to ap rove amendment to Housing and Community Development (HCDA contract to provide $8,000.00 in personnel costs and $ ,500.00 in equipment costs in order to continue rehabilitation work for senior citizens within the City. Parking problem of Mr. Ugo Ciarrocca, 1327 N. Dalton Prk.Prob.1327 was referred to Chief of Police for investigation. N.Dalton,refrd. to Chief of Pol. Councilman Cruz requested that Councilmen Decker and Rpt.on Pol.Dept.
