Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Fry
and,inanimously carried that City Administrator be
inszructed to contact the Superintendent of Schools in
Azusa and/or Pete Schabarum, Los Angeles County Super-
visor, and investigate problems with regard to the non -
hiring of disadvantaged youth by the School District in
conjunction with the Consortium; and if no positive
action is taken then perhaps feasibility of City under-
taking this project.
Parking problem of Mr. Ugo Ciarrocca, 1327 N. Dalton
was referred to Chief of Police for investigation.
Councilman Cruz requested that Councilmen Decker and
Fry as liaison officers to the Police Department make a
thorougn investigation of the department ascertaining
problems they are experiencing and if necessary having
a consultant investigate and advise what steps should
be taken to make it a more cohesive organization, with
a report of their findings submitted to Council.
