The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order and led in Call to Order
the salute to the Flag.
Two bids were received as follows:

guarantee to the unsuccessful bidder, waive the irregu-
larity in the low bid in that it contained no corporate
seal, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute
the contract.

and unanimously carried by roll call to approve Crime
Prevention Program as submitted by the Chief of Police
and authorize the addition of $3,424.00 to the Police
Budget to cover expenses.
Moved by Councilman Cruz, seconded by Councilman Fry
and unanimously carried to approve recommendations as
' submitted by Chief of Police with regard to vehicle
parking and noise problems, at the Foothill Drive -In.
Swap Meet; copy of said recommendations on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Moses
and unanimously carried by roll call to approve the 8%
increase for interior traffic signal maintenance, as
submitted by Signal Maintenance, Inc., and authorize
modification of the contract to allow for negotiation
of future increases.

of warrants by the City, which the Deputy City Clerk
read in full.

Mr. Eugene Thrasher, President of the Azusa Veterans
