The City Council of the City of Azusa met in adjourned
regular session at the above time and place.
Mayor Solem called the meeting to order. Call to Order

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, forms of energy
CALIFORNIA, SUPPORTING AND ENCOURAGING THE DEVELOPMENT & conservation
OF ALTERNATIVE FORMS OF ENERGY AND CONTINUED CONSERVA-
TION OF ENERGY RESOURCES AND THE LICENSING OF THE SAN
ONOFRE NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS.
Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Decker
and unanimously carried to waive further reading.
Moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Decker
that resolution be adopted. Resolution passed and
adopted by the following vote of the Council:

It was consensus of Council that Staff prepare report
with regard to possible revenues that could be generated
from rock quarries and the dump; researching over-all
income of these companies; amending the amount of taxes
that the City could legally impose on them in order that
a ballot measure could be prepared by the City Attorney
for this proposed amendment.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Fry
and unanimously carried to adjourn meeting to June 8,
1981, 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room.
