The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in
the salute to the Flag.
Invocation was given by Reverend Rick McDonald of
the Foursquare Gospel Church.

There being no additions or corrections, the Minutes of Ap vl.Min.of
the May 3, 1982, regular meeting stand approved as written. 5/3/82 mtg.
Mr. Bob Cochran of Assemblyman Lancaster's Office
presented a Resolution to the Council and Chief of Police
Wood in recognition of the Neighborhood Watch Program.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Latta
and unanimously carried by roll call that format as
recommended by City Administrator for public participation
at Council meetings be approved, and that same take effect
at next Council meeting, in order that the Mayor have time
to study same and implement the changes; further, that
City Administrator prepare the policy in the form of a
booklet, to be placed in the auditorium, for distribution
at the next Council meeting for people in attendance to
review.

Time Management Seminar to be held at Long Beach.

Members interested and City Administrator, be authorized
to attend the Mavors and Council Members Legislative
Issues and Strategy Conference to be held in Sacramento,
June 14-15, 1982; and in particular to seek help of our
Legislators in averting the reduction of state subvention
funds to cities.

options regarding the matter.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
ALLOWING CERTAIN CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AND SPECIFYING THE
FUNDS OUT OF WHICH THE SAME ARE TO BE PAID.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilwoman Hart
that,resolution be adopted. Resolution passed and adopted
by the following vote of the Council:

NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Decker Report re:
and unanimously carried that Director of Public Works and trfc dev.@
Chief of Police determine and investigate feasibility of Gladstone &
some type of traffic device at Gladstone and Donna Beth, Donna Beth
' for report to Council.
Council recessed to Executive Session at 10:04 p.m. Exec.Session
Council reconvened at 10:26 p.m. Reconvened
Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Mayor Moses that Minutes for
additional Minutes be prepared for distribution at distribution
Council meetings for the citizens, failed by the following at Cncl.mtgs.

It was consensus of Council that City Administrator inves- Block Grant
tigate block grant funding through HUD for anti -graffiti Funds for
purposes, to ascertain if the city is eligible for such Anti -Graffiti
grant funds.
Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Decker Adjourn
and unanimously carried to adjourn.
