The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at the above time and place.
Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in
the salute to the Flag.
Invocation was given by Father Coronel of the St.
Frances of Rome Church.

Moved by Councilman Decker, -seconded by Councilman Latta
and unanimously carried that Minutes of May 17.,-1982.,
reflect an abstention by Mayor Moses on Resolution No.
7124. The Minutes were then approved as amended.
Moved by Councilwoman Hart that Councilman Decker be
nominated;as Mayor Pro -Tem, died for the lack of a
second.
Moved by Mayor Moses that Councilman Latta be nominated
as Mayor Pro -tem, died for the lack of a second.

City Council adjourned to Community Redevelopment Agency
at 7:53 p.m.
City Council reconvened at 7:53 p.m.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilwoman Hart
and unanimously carried by roll call that claim vs city
'by State of California (National Guard Armory) for alleged
damages to flag pole and roof when utility pole fell on
said building, occurring April 25, 1982, be honored; and
that General Telephone Company has agreed to pay half of
the damages inasmuch as the pole in question is a joint
pole owned by them and the city.
Councilwoman Hart offered a resolution entitled:

Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Mayor Moses that Req.to use
the Latinos' Peace Officers' Association be authorized Woman's Club
to use the Woman's Club for a fund raiser, but that fees by Latinos'
not be waived, failed by the following vote of the Peace Off.

be given to the Girls Clubs of Pasadena to park mobile Park -Girls
trailer unit (Outreach program) at City Park, for a period Clubs of

June 28th, and further that encouragement and cooperation

the City use the monies available for transportation
through Proposition A funds and adopt our own senior
citizen program, under the direction of the Community
Services Department and further, that'the Consortium
receive a 30 day notice of cancellation of existing
agreement for those services, failed by the following

necessary resolution; further, that City Administrator
and City Attorney be directed to meet with representatives
