The City Council of the City of Azusa met in`regular session at the Civic Auditorium at the above time and date. Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in the Call to Order salute to the Flag. Invocation was given by Reverend Henry Towle of the Invocation First Baptist Church. CONSENT CALENDAR The CONSENT CALENDAR consisting of Items 1 through 28 Consent Calendar was approved on motion of Councilman Latta, seconded appvd.(#22 by Councilman Decker and unanimously carried by roll Special Call) call vote, with the exception of Item #22 (resolution continuing as a participating city in the Transportation Programs), which was considered under the Special Call portion of the Agenda. 1. He also read the affidavit of proof of publication of Notice Inviting Bids, published in the Azusa Herald on June 16th and 23rd, 1982. Three bids were received and are on file in the Office of the City Clerk. Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman (Roscoe Moss Latta and unanimously carried b roll call to award low bidder) the contract for Project No. 634 to Roscoe Moss Company call to waive ' in the amount of $65,119.40; waive all irregularities further reading. in the bid under the provision of the contract docu- ments, direct the City Clerk to return bidders' by Councilman guarantees to the unsuccessful bidders and authorize Decker that resolution be adopted. the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the contract. City Attorney is to investigate and report on initiating policy wherein city employees cannot purchase any item that is either owned by the City or under City control at any time without the consent of the City Council: 3. City Attorney is to investigate the Public Records Act with regard to disclosing the names of the city employee that purchased the dog to ascertain if that would be a breach of confi- dential information, and submit that information to the City Administrator as soon as possible.
