The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the Civic Auditorium at the above time and _ date. Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in the Call to Order salute to the Flag. Invocation was given by Reverend James Herring of the Invocation Assembly of God Church. Plans and specifications for installation of seven traffic controllers on Foothill Blvd. and Sierra Proj. #618 Plans & Specs Madre Avenue and modification of existing signal system, Project No. 618, were approved and the City - Clerk authorized to advertise for bids. 23. Plans and specifications for one industrial type Plans & Specs wheel tractor with loader and backhoe, or equal, Proj. 635 Project No. 635, was approved and the City Clerk authorized to advertise for bids. 24. RESOLUTION NO. 7157 Res. #7157 Cnty. Aid to A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE Cities CITY OF AZUSA REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SEVEN TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS ON FOOTHILL BLVD. AND SIERRA MADRE AVENUE AND MODIFICATION OF EXISTING SIGNAL SYSTEM. 25. A part time employee in the Water Division of Public Part Time Works Deparment for a period of three months comment- employee ing with August 16th, was approved. The position is Water Div., needed due to retirment of John Padilla and leave due to illness of Kenneth Deck. 26. Item withdrawn as it pertained to the Personnel Board. 27. The draft contract for an Agreement relating to the Kings River Project relicensing application, Project No. 1988, was approved and the Mayor authorized to execute the Agreement when received. 28. Educational reimbursement was approved for Karen Hampton Police Officer, in the amount of $188.00 and for Audrey Carney, Senior Secretary, in the amount of $64.56. 29. Special Call Item. 30. 'employee should be formalized and the Animal Control City Atty. Department should inform the person who has the dog in Opinion her possession at this time, that the dog belongs to another party and that the transaction by which it was purportedly sold her was invalid and thdt the dog would have to be returned to the Animal Control Department.
