MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
REGULAR MEEETING
FEBRUARY 7, 1983 7:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session in the Civic Auditorium, at the above time and
date.
'Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in the Call to Order
salute to the Flag.
Invocation was given by Reverend Gordon Coulter of the Invocation
Free Methodist Church.

SCHEDULED ITEMS
PUBLIC HEARING - on proposed Amendment to the Azusa Muni-
cipal Code relating to Swap Meets. Amendment No. 130.
The Mayor declared the Hearing open. The City Clerk read
the affidavit of proof of publication of Notice of said
Hearing published in the Azusa Herald on January 26, 1983.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Latta
and unanimously carried by roll call to close the Hearing.
'Moved by Councilwoman Hart, seconded by Councilman Decker
and carried by roll call that the City Attorney be directed
to prepare the necessary ordinance to amend the Azusa
Municipal Code as recommended by Planning Commission Reso-
lution No. 1884. Mayor Moses dissenting.
Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Mayor Moses that
Agenda Items J2 and J3, proposed resolutions to issue
revenue bonds for multifamily rental housing at the "Krems
Property" and corner of Foothill Blvd., and Azusa, respec-
tively, be continued to meeting of February 22, 1983,
passed by the following vote of the Council:

Moved by Councilman Cruz, seconded by Mayor Moses
and unanimously carried by roll call that the Mayor be
appointed as Delegate and �:Councilman Latta as Alternate
to the San Gabriel Valley Association of Cities.
Moved by Councilman Decker, seconded by Councilman Latta
and unanimously carried by roll call that agreement with
the Railroad Company and the City for rubber pad repairs
of crossings at Azusa and San Gabriel Avenues be approved
with the stipulation that City Administrator/Attorney re-
view the legalities involved and investigate avenues for
outside funding, prior to consummating the agreement.
