- 7:30 P.M.
' The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session in the Civic Auditorium, at the above time
and date.
Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in Call to Order
the salute to the Flag.
Invocation was given by Monsignor Robert Stein of the Invocation
St. Frances of Rome Church.

unanimously carried by roll call that a plaque be pre-
pared honoring the Azusa High School Baseball team for
winning the first IA CIF Championship; said plaque to be
presentedat the meeting of June 20th.
It was consensus of Council that City Attorney investi-
gate the need/legality of soliciting bids for the
publication of Legal ads by the City.

Councilman Cruz advised complaining residents in the
Sierra Madre area that grazing cows would vacate the
premises prior to July 1, 1983.

Agricultural Water Company which has been contested by

and carried by roll call that city wide graffiti program
utilizing one man from the Public Works Department and
one man fro¢ the Community Services at a maximum of two
hours overtime each, be approved to the end of the fiscal
year. Said program will be evaluated at Budget sessions
with possible re -implementation or contracting with the
Consortium for these services. Councilman Decker dissent-
ing.

as topic involved was not permissable at open meetings.

and unanimously carried by roll call that Richard Widman,
again, not be allowed to speak as subject matter was a
personnel matter not to be aired at Council meetings.
Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Cruz,
and unanimously carried by roll call to adjourn the
meeting to June 11, 1983, at 8:00 A.M. , in the City Hall
Conference Room. '
