MINUTES OF THE; CITY COUNCIL
REGULAR 1,EETING
JULY 18, 1983 - 7:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session in the Civic Auditorium, at the above time
and date.
Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in
the salute to the Flag.
Invocation was given by Reverend Raul Castro of the
Ebenezer Spanish Assembly of God Church.

CEREMONIAL
Robert DeLoach, newly appointed Parks Superintendent
was introducted to members of the Council.
Plaques were presented to former Fire Captains Don
McClain, Bill Franklin and Larry Kyle, who subsequent
to their transfer to L.A. County Fire Service were
reduced one rank; said plaques were in appreciation
for their services to the City as Fire Captains.
Richard Montes, Sister City President, introduced
Youth Exchange students and chaperones from our Sister
City Zacatecas, Mexico. The City Council presented
them with gifts.
