The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session in the Civic Auditorium, at the above time and date. Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in Call to Order the salute to the Flag. Invocation was given by Reverend Raul Castro of the Invocation Ebenezer Spanish Assembly of God Church. 'DeLoach Plaques were presented to former Fire Captains Don Plaques -to McClain, Bill Franklin and Larry Kyle, who subsequent former Fire to their transfer to L.A. County Fire Service were Captai-4-- reduced one rank; said plaques Ytere in appreciation for their services to the City as Fire Captains. Richard Montes, Sister City President, introduced Intrd. Youth Youth Exchange students and chaperones from our Sister Exc ange from City Zacatecas, Mexico. The City Council presented Sis or City them with gifts. Zacatecas#Mex. Bids for restroom renovation at all Azusa Parks were Park Restroom received and opened in the City Clerk's Office on Renovation Thursday, July 14, 1983. Five bids were received R.Clark Contr.' and are on file in the City Clerk's Office. The contract was awarded to Robert Clark Contractor, low bidder, in the amount of $99,000.00, deleting two ' park facilities; waiving irregularity of no corporate seal; the Mayor and City Clerk were authorized to execute contract and City Clerk was directed to return unsuccessful bidders' guarantees. 15. The City Clerk read the affidavit of proof of publication of Notice of said 'Hearing published in the Azusa Herald on July 6th and 13th, as well as affidavit of proof of posting subject property on July 8, 1983. City Administrator was requested to report on justification Rpt.City Crews for City for City crews mowing grass in the vicinity of mowing grass at Hankins Medical Center.
