MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
SEPTEMBER 26, 1983 - 7:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in adjourned
regular session in the Civic Auditorium, at the above
time and date.
Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in the
salute to the Flag.

The CONSENT CALENDAR consisting of Items 1 through"8 Consent Calendar
was approved on motion of Councilman Latta, seconded Appvd.(items 4 &

Works Association Annual Fall Conference, in Anaheim,
October 19-23, 1983.

north well to reservoir#1 was approved. The Proj. #642.
Mayor was authorized to execute the, notice of com-
pletion and the City Clerk was directed to record
the document with the Los Angeles County Recorder.
8. RESOLUTION NO. 7335

Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Cruz
and unanimously carried by roll call to waive further

Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by.Councilman Cruz City Adm./City
and unanimously carried by roll call that extensive Attny.recruit-
recruitment be pursued for the positions of City Admin- ment
istrator and City'Attorney.
Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Cruz Interim City
and unanimously carried by roll call that Lloyd Wood Adm. L.Wood
'be appointed Interim City Administrator, with appro
priate compensation, and that he retain this post
until the City Administrator position is filled.
Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Cruz Extend Contract
and unanimously carried by roll call that Fred Lyte's F. Lyte
contract be extended at the same rate of pay, $3,500.00
per month, with a one year cancellation clause.
Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Cruz Extend Contract
and unanimously carried by roll call to extend Interim A.McFarlane
Finance Officer Alex McFarlane's contract, as needed,
at the same rate of pay.

Robert Ky'on to the position of Equipment Operator effec-

and unanimously carried by roll call that temporary
employment of Michael Nelson be referred back to staff.
Moved by Mayor Moses, seconded by Councilman Cruz and
unanimously carried by roll call that Consumer Service
Manager Bonnie Woodson be authorized to conduct an Energy
Audit in all City departments and City owned facilities,
further, that investigation into a computer to monitor
such an audit be made.
Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Cruz
and unanimously carried by roll call to adjourn.
