RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council take the following actions: 1)Discuss and confirm the modified 2025 summer meeting schedule; and 2)Approve the cancellation of the May 19, 2025 City Council meeting. ANALYSIS: It’s common for City Councils to modify summer meeting schedules as it provides Councilmembers and Staff the opportunity to take a vacation. Staff believes that scheduling one meeting per month during the summer would be sufficient to attend to the City’s business and should an emergency arise, a special meeting can be called. Additionally, Staff is also requesting cancellation of May 19, 2025 City Council meeting due to a schedule conflict with a business conference attended by several Councilmembers resulting in a lack of quorum available to participate in the meeting.
