SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF DECEMBER 2021 UTILITY BOARD MEETING
BACKGROUND:
The Utility Board does not meet during the month of December due to the winter holidays
(Christmas and New Year’s Day). This allows for Staff and Utility Board Members to spend
time with family.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the Utility Board take the following action:
1)Approve the cancellation of the scheduled December 28, 2021 Regular Utility Board
meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The December Utility Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 28th. Staff is
recommending the Utility Board cancel the scheduled December meeting to accommodate for
the winter holidays. Any urgent items requiring action by the Board will be placed on a regular
City Council agenda scheduled during the month of December 2021 or at an upcoming Utility
Board Meeting in 2022. Please see attached document, 2022 Utility Board Meeting Schedule, for
upcoming dates.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the recommended action.
