The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and date in the Civic Auditorium. Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in Call to Order the salute to the Flag. Invocation was given by Reverend Frank Herber of the Invocation Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Gospel Church Moved by Councilman Camarena, seconded by Mayor Agmt.for Closed Moses and unanimously carried by roll call to approve Circuit TV lease agreement between City and McNeill Systems Surveillance for installation of closed circuit TV surveillance system at the Police Department and authorization was given for the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement. Moved by Councilman Camarena that proposed Council Policies, Submitting Agenda Items and Public Partici- pation at City Council meetings be approved with the deletion of Item III of Submitting Agenda Items, relating to walk on items. Motion died for the lack of a second. Moved by Councilman Camarena, seconded by Councilman Cook and unanimously carried by roll call to declare the following vehicles as surplus property and author- ize informal quotes for their disposal: 1 - 1951 Jeep; 1 - 1969 Elgin Pelican Street Sweeper; 1 - 1976 Nova; 4 - 1978 Novas; and 1 - 1979 Malibu. Moved by Councilman Camarena, seconded by Councilman Cook and unanimously carried by roll call to direct staff to initiate formal bidding procedures for the purchase of a Mobil street sweeper. OTHER BUSINESS/CITY COUNCIL Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Marquee in Cook and unanimously'carried by roll call that staff Front of City ' be directed to investigate and report recommendations Hall re: marquee in front of City Hall with proper architectural design. It was also consensus of Council that the State be notified to the need of rest room facilities in the canyon.
