The City Council of the City of Azusa met in adjourned regular session at the above date and time in the City Hall Conference Room. Mayor Moses called the meeting to order. ROLL CALL PRESENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: ABSENT : COUNCILMEMBERS: ALSO PRESENT CRUZ, COOK, CAMARENA, LATTA,MOSES NONE City Attorney Thorson, City Administrator/Chief of Police Wood, Assistant to the City Administrator Fuentes, Redev- elopment Consultant Werner, Deputy City Clerk Lara. Discussion was held regarding proposed Senior Citizen Center primarily the acquisition of land and costs for building the center. Moved by Councilman Cook, seconded by Councilman Cruz and unanimously carried by roll call that agreement for tax increment alocation and distribution of funds with Los Angeles County re: Amendments No. IV and V be approved and that the Mayor be authorized to execute the agreement, pending review by staff and that approval be contingent on no further challenges from any other taxing agencies. Moved by Councilman Cook, seconded by Councilman Camarena and carried .by roll call to authorize expenditure for appraisal of property that the Chamber of Commerce is interested in for their new location and further that City Attorney report on the lowest legal interest rate that can be charged by the City with regard to the sale of said property. Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Cruz and unanimously carried by roll call to approve action of the Planning Commission in revoking said conditional use permits. Mrs. Ferry was duly notifed of said hearing by certified mail, return receipt requested, by the City Clerk's Office. City Clerk then swore in Mr. David Rudisel, Code Enforcement Officer and his testimony was received. City Clerk then swore in Mrs. Vincenza Ferry, appellant, and her testimony was received.
