MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
NOVEMBER 19, 1984 - 6:00 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in adjourned
regular session at the above date and time in the City
Hall Conference Room.
Mayor Moses called the meeting to order.

Discussion was held regarding proposed Senior Citizen
Center primarily the acquisition of land and costs for
building the center.
Moved by Councilman Cook, seconded by Councilman Cruz
and unanimously carried by roll call that agreement for
tax increment alocation and distribution of funds with
Los Angeles County re: Amendments No. IV and V be approved
and that the Mayor be authorized to execute the agreement,
pending review by staff and that approval be contingent
on no further challenges from any other taxing agencies.

It was consensus of Council that this item be continued
to the December 3, 1984 Council meeting to afford Council
members the opportunity to discuss the matter with staff.
Moved by Councilman Cook, seconded by Councilman Camarena
and carried .by roll call to authorize expenditure for
appraisal of property that the Chamber of Commerce is
interested in for their new location and further that
City Attorney report on the lowest legal interest rate that
can be charged by the City with regard to the sale of said
property. Councilmen Cruz and Latta dissenting.
