MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
REGULAR MEETING
FEBRUARY 18, 1986 - 7:30 P.M.
he City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session
t the above date and time in the Civic Auditorium.
Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in the salute Call to order
to the Flag.
INVOCATION was given by Father David Granadino of the Saint Invocation
Frances of Rome Church.

CEREMONIAL Ceremonial
Mr. Joseph Beaulieu presented the City Administrator with Statue of
commemorative books, published in the City of Azusa, paying Liberty books
lribute to the Statue of Liberty; Statements from President to Library &
eagan, as well as the three past Presidents and all the Historical Soc.
overnors of the United States,, are included in the book.
Said books were presented to Mr. Wood for the City Library
and the Historical Society.

The CONSENT CALENDAR consisting of Items 1 through 26 was Consent

1. The Minutes of the regular meeting of February 3, 1986 Min appvd
were approved as written.
2. Claim v. City by Timothy R. and Bettie K. Smart, for Claim
alleged injuries sustained and loss and death of their T. R. & B. K.
child due to traffic accident occurring October 2, 1985, Smart
was denied and referred to City's Claims Administrator.

The resignation for purposes of retirement of Lieutenant Resign. Lt.
Gilbert Trujillo, effective February 28, 1986, was Trujillo
accepted; further that a resolution be prepared to be
presented to him at a later date.

were received and opened in the City Clerk's Office
on February 11, 1986.
16. Contract for Project No. 703, modification of the Evidence A.A.J., Inc.
Room at the Police Department was awarded to A.A.J., bid award

17. Contract for Project No. 705, modification of the Scout A.A.J., Inc.
Hall, was awarded to A.A.J., Inc., low bidder, in the Bid award
amount of $16,588.00, and its execution was authorized; Proj. 705
the City Clerk was directed to return unsuccessful
bidders' guarantees. Six bids were received and opened
in the City Clerk's Office on February 11, 1986.
18. Contract for catered food service operation for the Caberet Cater -
Senior Citizen Nutrition Program was awarded to Cabaret ing bid award
