'The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above date and time in the Civic Auditorium. Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in the Call to order" salute to the Flag. INVOCATION was given by Reverend Flagg of the First Invocation . Presbyterian Church. Moved by Councilman Latta, seconded by Councilman Cook Cruz excused and unanimously carried by roll call* to excuse Councilman Cruz from the meeting. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING RICHARD A. LARA FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY. AT 7:38 P.M., THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY CONVENED JOINTLY. JOINT PUBLIC HEARING - regarding proposed sale of certain real property in the Azusa Central Business District Redevelopment Project area. Mayor/Chairman Moses declared the Hearing open. The City Clerk/Secretary read the affidavit of proof of publication of notice of said hearing published in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune on April 5th, 12th and 19th, 1986. Testimony was solicited, but none received. Staff reports were available for Council/Agency perusal. Moved by Councilman/Director Cook, seconded by Councilman/ erector Latta and unanimously carried by roll call* to lose the hearing. Director Cook offered a resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING THE ROGERS TOYOTA, INC. Prtcpatior Discussion was held regarding Jones Intercable providing Rpt on CableTV service to various mobile home parks. Apparently, the @ mobile home difficulty seems to lie with the Mobile Home Park owners parks and their reluctance to have this service installed. It was consensus of Council that staff investigate alleged problems and means to alleviate them, if possible. recreation as intended.
