MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL -
REGULAR MEETING
AUGUST 4, 1986 - 7:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session
at the above date and time in the Civic Auditorium.
Mayor Moses called the meeting to order and led in the
salute to the Flag.
INVOCATION was given by Reverend Elmer Nelson of the
Foursquare Gospel Church.

The CONSENT CALENDAR consisting of Items 1 through 13
was approved by motion of Councilman Cruz, seconded by
Councilman Cook and unanimously carried by roll call vote,
with the exception of Item F-4 which was removed from
the Agenda at this time and Items F-8 and F-9, which were

Larry Sade. Hearings consisted of the following:

granting said variance.

ZONE CHANGE CASE NO. Z-251 - changing the zone from
Rlc to Ric.
The Mayor declared the Hearings open. The City Clerk
read the affidavit of proof of publication of notice of
said Hearings published in the Azusa Herald on July 23,
1986, and the affidavit of proof of posting the property
on July 25, 1986.
Testimony was received from staff and appellant as well
as the public.
Moved by Councilman Cook, seconded by Councilman Cruz
and unanimously carried by roll call to continue the
Hearings to meeting of August 18th, to afford the developer
and staff to meet and work out an amenable agreement with
regard to providing transportation for the senior citizens
who will be residing at the complex.
