approving the General Plan designation for property located
at 840-880 S. Vincent Avenue to high density residential and
for property located at 620, 621, 625 and 630 North Cerritos
Avenue to high density residential. The other resolution
only approved the General Plan designation change for the
property located on Cerritos Avenue.
A discussion ensued due to the fact that the Council had
denied the proposed Zone Change for the Vincent property at
'their last Council meeting, and questioned the approval of
the resolution concerning both properties.
Mr. Kamal Rizkalla, representing Net Advantage, addressed
the Council and requested that they reconsider his zone
change request for the Vincent property.
Community Development Director advised the Council that if
they were amenable to reconsidering the zone change request
of Net Advantage, that proposed resolution approving both
properties concerned with the General Plan would be
appropriate, as the inconsistency with the zone
classification as pertained to the General Plan Amendment
could be corrected at a later date.
Councilman Cook then offered the resolution dealing with
both properties involved in the General Plan Amendment,
entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
