Present at roll call; Barnes, Clark, Case and Roach. Absent; Collins. The minutes of October 28th were read and approved. Communications were read from Burns and McDonald , Azusa Womanshiv� Club, and Azusa Irrigating Company Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the bids for the Sixth Street � L� sidewalk be opened, read and publicly declared . Motion carried. The Bids were read by the Clerk. Moved by Barnes, seconded by Clark that the bids be referred to the City Engineer for his investigation and to report next meeting. F Motion carried. Communications from Frank Watson asking to be appointed inspector d� I of Sixth Street work was referred to Superintendent of Streets. Ur Bowerman of The B. R. Davi son Company was present and asked l< --.4 what had been done with the one Hundred Dollar check thatthe Davisson . Company had deposited with the City. After some discussion the matter was referred to the Street Super- intendent , City Engineer and Chairman of the Public Works Committee.
