Azusa California, November 25th, 1912,
The Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7;30 p, m.
Present at roll call ; Collins, Barnes, Case and Roach.
Absent; Clark.
The minutes of No 11th and Nov. 13th, 1412 were read and approved,

Cityts 80 Acres , aldo from the Western Securities Corporation .

brief Avenue from Second to Third Street ,also a petition for the 33xten-
Lion of Electric Light on San Gabriel Avenue from Second to Third Street.
Moved by Case, seconded by Clark that the City Clerk notify Mr. D. C.
Hammel that the land owned by the City was not for sale.

Moved by Case , seconded by Clark that the light be extended on San
Gabriel Avenue frorn Third to Second Street.
Motion carried,
' Hoved by Collins, seconded by Barnes that the City Engineer establish
grades on San Gabriel Avenue from Second to 'Third Street for side -walk and
curb, and for the grading of the Street and the City Attorney take the
necessary steps to have the work put through.
L. L. Cardwell came before the Board asking that the water be piped

to his mothers place on North A$usa Avenue. Superintendent Thompson stating
it would be necessary to tap the reservoir on the North Side and run the
pipe -line along the South side of Sierra Madra Avenue to the west side of
Azusa Avenue and down Azusa Avenue to the. Cardwell place. Mr Cardwell stated
that he would pay for the pipe if:the City would do the work. He also
deposited $50.00 and agreed to nut up the balance in a few days.The Ci.t3Y
not to expend more than $50•.00 . Yr Cardwell to be repaid in water by de-
ducting 50/ of his monthly water bills.
VTSr A. G. Owen asked the Board that they allow him to serve from now
�on s Superintendent of Park without pay , with the privilegecof spending
$15.00 a month for bulbs and flowers that the Park may need.
Moved by Collins seconded by Barnes that the request of IGr Owem be
granted and that he be given a vote of thanks for his past work.
Motion Carried.

declarinb the office of Park Commissioner vacant, and a Resolution appointing
Mr Owen p.¢ Park Commissioner without pay.

in Azusa.

The agreement and waiver of the City of Azusa with Frank Alexander

be empowered to sign this agreement.

Moved by Case, seconded by Barnes that Mr McInturffs demand be allowed
for $2.00

ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIq,UORS WITHIN THE CITY
OF AZUSA ]ACCEPT FOR BONA FIDE MEDICAL PURPOSES, IN THE MANNER THEREIN
PROVIDED AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO 73 OF SAID CITY, BE READ for the
first time.

Communicationswas read from Engineer Gierlich reporting thathe had

assist him in making the necessary surveys for the description of the
deeds which they are to turn over to the City ,The Engineer of.the
Santa Fe also stated that the datd he was getting ready would immediate-
ly be sent to head quarters and the deeds drawn up from the same,
