Moved by Collins, seconded by Barnes that Trustee.Clark act.as temporary chairman. Motion carried. Present at roll call;Ayes; Collins, Barnes, Clark and Case. Absent; Roach. The minutes of February 24th, 1913, were read and apprpved. Communication was read from L. L. Cardwell President Roach now present. Communication was also read from S. R. Utter stating that he did not wamt to lease the land around the old City reservoir. The City Clerk was instructed to write the other applicants for this piece of land and see if they wanted it under the same conditions that Mr Utter would have taken it . Communication was also read from F, K. Strang asking for T" ., the gradn of sidewalk on the corner of Alameda Avenue and Fifth Street. �j-f 4 " "_r Communication was also read from Attorney Bidwell giving his advise as to the relative power over the planting of shade W"�o,_ trees. Cummunicat.ion was also read from the Accro Manufacturing Company. Mr Owens and Mrs J. H. Anderson came before the Board asking the Counsil to do all that they could to -wards the planting of trees on San Gabriel Avenue , and also on Sixth St. The matter was referred to the Public Works Committee to ascertain the cost and report next meeting. Bert Hendricks came before the Board and asked for 8::e permit to lay an eight inch cement pipeline across the North end of Azusa Avenue and down the West side of Azusa Avenucto the property owned by Mr Plumber . Moveby Collins, seconded by Case that the permit be granted and (e under the supervision of Engineer Gierlich^, :,:cl tar Plumber to pay the expenses. Motion carried. Moved by ColD ne, seconded by Barnes that the City Attorney draw up a contract for this permit. Motion carried. r..fSupt. Moved by Clark, seconded by Case that the City Engineer. prepare a Resolution of Intention for Pasadena Avenue and Dalton,Avenue. . Motion carried. Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the motion granted the Azusa Irrigating Company the right to lay a pipeline.on the East side of Pasadena Avenue be amended to read on the West side of Pasadena Avenue Motion carried, Mr V. B. Culler asked permission to remove the gum trees in front of his house. Moved b.0 Case, seconded by Barnes that Mr Cullers request be granted, Trustee Barnes offered a Resolution , being "A Resoultlon of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa�Providing for the Transfer of Certain Funds." Moved by Case, seconded by Barnes that the Resolution be adopted as read. Roll call; Ayes; Case, Barnes, and Roach, Noes; None. Absent; Clark and Collins.
