MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 30, 1994 - 6:00 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in Special session at the above
date and time in the Civic Auditorium.
Mayor Moses called the meeting to order, and led in the salute to the Flag.
PRESENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: DANGLEIS, MADRID, NARANJO,
ALEXANDER, MOSES
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
Interim City Attorney Barnes, City Administrator Garcia, Chief of Police
Nelson, Director of Finance Craig, City Clerk Solis.

' The purpose of the Special Meeting was to consider for approval four Purpose of
Consent Calendar items and an Ordinance relating to an amendment to the Mtg.
public Employees' Retirement System Contract.

The CONSENT CALENDAR consisting of Items 1 through 4 was Consent Cal
approved by motion of Councilman Dangleis, seconded by Councilman 1-4, appvd
Naranjo and unanimously carried by roll call vote.

1. Approval was given to the Azusa Police Department to request
proposals for architectural and engineering services to design both new
construction and remodeling of existing police facilities. The general
concept is to connect the adjacent light and water building to the
police building by new construction and expanding the police facility
to accommodate the growth that has occurred within the city and the
police department within the past two decades. The new design
should incorporate projected direction of the police department and
the city.

Code for the purchase of a data display panel and projection display panel,
