The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met at a reg-
ular meeting at 7;15 P. M.
Present at roll call; Rtes; Collins, Barnes, Clark, ease

and Roach.
Absent; None.
The minutes of March, loth, 1913 were read and correction
ordered made noting the excuse of Collins and Clark.
Communications were read from Dr Jno. E. Hill, Home,Tele-
phone Company, and H. S. Gierlich.
Wm. Mayes came before the Board and asked permiesion to
take out the olive trees in front of his place.
Moved by Barnes,.seconded by.Case that Mr Mayes request be
granted.
Motion carried.

Mr J. C. Johnson asked to lease the around old
reservoir under .the same conditions that it was to be.

Moved by Case, seconded by Barnes that Mr Johnson be leased
the land , and the City Attorney draw up the contract.

Mr D. J. Rittenhouse asked to lease 20 shares of water

stock, W. H. Raney asked to lease 5 shares,and J. H. Dalton
72 shares.
Moved by Case, seconded by Barnes that the water stock
be leased to these partios on the same terms as last year
at $1. 50 per share.
A petition from the property owners on San GabrielAvenue
and one from the property Owners on Sixth Street asking the
Board to plant and maintain trees on these streets, under the
Vrooman Act, were read by the Clark. '
Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the petitions be
received and granted and be referred to the City Attorney.
Motion carried.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the City Engi-
neer draw the plans for the setting of these trees.

Moved by Clark, seconded by Collins that the City Clerk2

Engineer Gierlich reported on the Vernon Avenue work
stating that the Pacific Electric wanted"Kinth Street
widened from 10 to 25 feet from Vernon Avenue to San Gabriel
Avenue.
Moved by Case, seconded by Clark that the City,Engineer
and City Attorney draw up the specification and profile
for Crescent Drive.
Motion carried,
Moved by Case, seconded by Clark that Mr Bidwell be
paid for his services as City Attorney from February 10th
1913, to March let, 1913, and for the Month of March, 1913.
