April 14th, 1913. .
The Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7:30 P. V.
Present at roll call: Collins, Barnes, Clark, Came and
Roach.
The Minutes of March 24th, 1913, were read and approved.
Mr Van Tassell came before the Board and asked permission Y____
to remove the red gum trees in front of his place on San
Gabriel Avenue,
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Clark that the request be
granted.
Motion cerried.
Mr Singleton came before the Board asking that the side- A "�
walk on Alameda Avenue be laid from Second Street to ldleventh l
Street insteadf.13-"'rirut to Eleventh Street.

Superintendent Thompson reported that the Pacific Light ;t
and Power Corporation would like to change the, line bringing ,� � •CD �
Electricity into the City 4o that the City would own all. of
the line inside of the City Limits.
Marshal Granville made a report of the Police Department
for the past year.
Mr C. L. Smith , Mr Evans, and Mr A. G. Owens were before
the Board asking the City Council to decide on the kind of
tree to be planted on Sixth Street and San Gabriel Avenue. �t

Mr Berner came before the Board asking that the speed
limitation be changed from the railroad crossing on the west _1&

Mr Demmitt came before the Board and asked for a one
inch watertap instead of a five -eighth tap at his house. I „

Moved by Case, seconded by Clark that blr Demmitt be
given a one inch tap in place of a five -eighth tap , he

paying the additional cost to the City .

He also asked permission to lay a water main across the
alley running East and West, North of his property,

He also wanted permission to fence the alley just North
of his place.

Mr H. S. Rogers representing the bontract Water Com-
