Present at roll call:Collins, BArr.cs, Clark, Case an, 1jna.Ch. •.ne Yl,. rtes of May 26th ,1417, were reaA and approved, The Resignation of A. C. Owens as Superintendent of Pnrk-11° -as read by the Clerk. Moved by Barnes, seconded by Collins tha.y the resignation be accepted. Motion carried. Mr Don H. Petty came before tho Beard representing the e-�^-,""�•'��`��� Azusa Smudge Assn,asking permisalon to lay a 3 inch steel pipe line from a point being between the P. E. tracts and Santa Fe tracts on Pasadena Avenue, South to the North line of Centre Street, thence East on the North side of Centre Street to the hest side of Cerritos Avenue , crossing Centre Street through an old disused 8 " pine , thence South on Rest side of Cerritos' Avenue and conforming to said Cerritos Avenue to First Street, thence Vest to Pasadenn. Avenue , and to maintain two loading stands, one at Corritos Avenue and First St, and one at Pasadena Avenue and First St, The mattereias turned over to the Public Works Committee for invc,stigatioLi. Mr H. C. Bowers came before the Board objecting; to the . t...L....c !3a-..._d� pruposed sidewalk and curb on Crescent Drive, etating that lie had no objection to the grading and slaying of Crescent Drive but thought that the sidewalk and curb was not needed, Mr J. C. Johnson came before the Board asking the Cit, to pay for the tapping of the water main on the old reservoir C sight, also asking if he cduld not pay one-half of the rent in advance and the other half at the end of the year. .•� , .
