Sept. 8th., 1913
The Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7:30 P.M.

Present at roll call Collins, Barnes, Clark, Base, Roach
Communications were read from League of California Municipali-
ties and the Western Gas Engine Co.
cr" Mr. Leland Poage and a few of the Citizens from the southern
part of the City were before the Board asking that a bridge
be placed across the wash on First Street between Pasadena
Avenue and Dalton Avenae. .
y Gf� Mr. Petty informed the Board that the approaches on the Pasadena
of Avenue Bridge were in bad shap caused by the pipe line on that
C� ✓°�✓ street.
Mr. Poage also stated that the Azusa Irrigating Co, were fill-
ing in the bad places on Pasadena Avenue with rock and sand.
It was moved by Clark seconded by -Case that the Azusa Irri-
gating Co. be instructed to fix up the road with good dirt and
not with rock and Band and also to fix the bridge. Motion j
Carried.
It was moved by Case and seconded by Collins that the City
Engineer be instructed to draw -up plans and specifications for
a. bridge across the wash on First Street Motion Carried.
Yr. J. L. Dunn asked that the Board reimburse him for part of
his pipe line on First street or have Mr. Klapetaky pay for
part of the pipe line as he had tapped on to it.
The City Rtty stated that as the pipe line had been accepted
by the City and now belonged to the City Mr. Klapetaky had the
right to have a tap made on to that line by rAying for the tap.
The Chamber of Commerce asked thatthe City furnish a team for
clean up day.
It was moved by Barnes and seconded by Collin that the City
furnish the team on clean up day and the Supt, of Streets to
superintend the work on that day. Motion Carried..
Moved by Collins seconded by Barnes that the Ordinance being
An Ordinance to establish the Grades upon Certain Streets in
the City of Azusa, be read for the third time. Motion Carried
The Ordinance wasp,read by the Clerk.
Moved by Case and seconded by Barnes that the ordinance be
declared duly adopted Mxt

Trustee Barnes offered a Resolution providing for the Transfer
of Certain Funds and moved its adoption.
The Resolution was read by the Clerk.
The Motiantion was seconded by Clark.

It was moved by Barnes seconded by Clark that the following
bills be allowed and warrants drawn on the Treasury for the
same.
