The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at P.M. 07;45 Present at roll call; Collins, Barnes, Ulark, Case and Roaeh. i The minutes of last meeting were read and approved. F.D.Streshly and Charles Bender made application for their "►"�"� ems'^ guarterly pool -room license. —" Moved by Barnes, seconded by Collins that the pool -room I license be granted them. Motion carried. . The City Clerk asked for a ten day vacation beginning C*t ct---4r October lst,1913„�� Moved by Barnes ,seconded by Case that the City Clerk be given the vacation. Motion carried. Mr Charles Meier and M.B.Jones carne before the Board in r k �— o2e..Jf reference to water bills charged to them. Moved by Clark,seconded by Collins that the water rates fur September ,1913 be the same as the average of August and September of last year. Notion carried. The Street Superintendent and the Public works CommitteeA were instructed to see Mr A.Hummel and ,see if he would con- -6 tribute a days work With his team in fixing up the gutter on Becond Street between San Gabriel Avenue and Azusa Avenue. Trustee Case offered a Resolution and moved its adoption being ".A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF 3 0 AZUSA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO BUILD A RE -ENFORCED CONCRETE BRIDE AND CONCRETE 1YING WALLS ON FIRST STREET BETWEEN AI.AMEDA AVENUE AND PASADENA AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF AZUSA." The Resolution was read by the Clerk. The Resolution was seconded by Collins. Roll call; Ayes; Collins, Barnes, Clark, Case and Roach. Noes; None. Absent; None. Motion carried. ri Moved by Case, seconded by Collins, that, the City S-- Attorney and the City Engineer goahead with the work on Fifth Street from Pasadena Avenue to San Gabriel Avenue.
