City Engineer be instructed to establish the grades on
Azusa Avenue from Broadway to Sierra 14adra Avenue. }.lotion

Super int,.,nda,;t Thompson stated thn.t the apparatus
for testing the electric meters needed some repairing and
asked if he should have it fixed up.
It was moved by Barnee and secondedby Clark that
the matter be referred to the Public 6dorks Corimittee with
power to act. Motion carried.
Supt. Thompson also stated that the fire valve on
Couter.street L"asnin the center oforange -.Avenue
asked permi=sion of the Board to remove same.
It n+as moved by Case seconded by Borneo that the
Supt, of 14ater remove the fire valve on Center and Orange.

It. 12. Northing was before Lhe :Go•n.•rd asking if his
bill for laboV and supplies was to be passed. 'Trustees
Clark stated that tie considered the price for labor too high
and held it up for that reason,

be paid as soon as 0.1: by Thompson. I•jotiop carried

A communication was read from Sayre L'acneil regarding
the purchase of land by the City for water purposes.
It vaas moved by Clark seconded by Barnes that the
City Clerl; write 1'r. 1.tacneil to set a price on the land right
away as we must know the price before the election can be
called. Motinn carried,
It was moved by Case ❑eronded by Barnes that the city
stand the expense of taking the Citizen's Conwnittee to see the
different water and light plants. Motion carried,
