Present at roll call; Collins, Barnes, Clark and Roach. Absent; Case. The Minutes of December 8th and 9th 1913, were read and approved. Applications for Pool -room licence from Frank�ZtresMlyr,u yoRau✓ Charles Bender, and T.8.Ok1 were read by the Clark. Moved by Bar nee, seconded by Cobline that the licensee be granted the applicants. Motion carried. Moved by 018rk;:,_9econded by Collins that the City Engineer be allowed no pay for attending Counsil meeting. Motion carried. Sk Trustees Clark was appointed by President Roach to attend r3 �. the Stock Holders Meeting of the Azusa Agricultural Water Co. to be held January 6th 1914, and to vote the Cit3's Stock. Movedb by Collins, seconded by Barnes that the Ordinance a r being "AN ORDIIiANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF p AZUSA ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF AZUSA AVENUE FROM SIERRA MADRE AVENUE TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY OF SAID CITY OF VUSA," be taken up for the first reading. Motion carried. The Ordinance was read by the Clark. Moved by Barnes, seconded by Collins that the Ordinance be declared read for the first time and taken up for the second reading . Motion carried. The Ordinance was read by the Clark. Moved by Collins seconded by Barnes that the Ordinance be declared read for the second time and laid over until the next meeting. Trustee Clark offered a Resolution and moved its adoption being"A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN FUNDS". The Resolution w$s read by the Clerk. The Resolution was seconded by Collins. Roll call; Ayes; Collins, Barnes, Clark, and Roaoh. Noes; None. Absent; Case. Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the City Attorney be instructed to draw up an Ordinance providing for.the dumping of trash and rubbish on the City's,land west of Azusa , for the placing of receptacles for trash on street and. collecting of same. Motion carried. Superintendent Thompson stated that J.R..Dalton.had . asked for light at his residence and that it would mean an. extension of the line. Moved by Barnes, seconded by Collins that Mr Dalton be given the light. Motion carried. Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the following bills be allowed and warrants drawn for the same.
